Lisa Maria Leverett Bailey, Board Member
Minister Lisa M. Leverett Bailey enlisted in the Delaware National Guard, 73rd Field Combat Hospital, Stockley Delaware, WAC (Women Army Corp), Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC and AIT there as well, later she enlisted in US Army 1981 stationed at 801st Maintenance Company,101st ABN Div (AAslt) Fort Campbell, Ky. SFC Lisa M. Leverett-Bailey enlisted into the US Army Reserves and Active Army Guard Reserves. As Senior Retention NCO she supported over 72 Reserve units in 27 different states. SFC Lisa M. Leverett-Bailey has many military occupational skills, 71D Personnel Clerk, 76V Material Storage Supply, 63H Light Truck Vehicle Mechanic, 92G Food Service Specialist, 38A Civil Affairs Specialist, 79V Retention NCO (Career Counselor and has been presented with many awards). Her last assignment was in the United States Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operation Command, where she was part of General Staff Command as Senior Retention Non-Commission Officer under the command of General Altshuler where she retired August 30, 2006. She retired with 30 years of dedicated service. During this time, she earned a BBA in Marketing, MS in Project Management and MSB in Business from Strayer University, Rockville Campus
In November 2006, she became a licensed minister at the Insoul Fellowship Baptist Church, Fayetteville NC.
Lisa retired December 9, 2019, from Washington Metro Area Transit Authority in Alexandria Virginia, where she was the Material Control Manager/Project Manager of Motorola Radios.
Ms Lisa M. Leverett, the 5th generation of Sam and Laura Leverett great granddaughter of Webb Leverett and granddaughter of Shad Leverett and daughter of Murray V. Leverett of Lincolnton Georgia.
