Ashley C. Jackson 3rd Vice president
Ashley C. Williamson-Jackson is a distinguished alumna of Coppin State University, having graduated in 2009 with a major in Applied Psychology Administration. During her time at the university, she was recognized for her academic excellence and was inducted into PSI CHI, the National Honor Society in Psychology. In addition to her major, Ashley pursued a minor in music and held leadership positions in CSU's Marching Band, including Senator and Administrative Assistant. In her capacity as Administrative Assistant, she had the privilege of coordinating the band's participation in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Ashley also co-founded the Cavaliers Music Enrichment Program, which aimed to develop leadership skills in college students by teaching high school students the fundamentals of music theory and practice.
During her tenure with the Blackstone Group, LP, Ashley was responsible for managing budgets allocated to technology expenditures across various departments. As the youngest and only woman of color in her department, she supervised the tracking and analysis of service requests received through the help desk, ensuring efficient and effective resolution. She also successfully coordinated a global technology migration project, overseeing the transition from Windows XP to Windows 7 across international locations.
Currently, Ashley is a Kindergarten teacher and Grade Team Lead with New York’s Top charter school, where she oversees, manages and develops teachers into better educators.
Outside of her professional commitments, she is actively involved as a co-leader of a Girls Scouts Troop and has been a member of the Girls Scouts organization for 31 years. She has been on the board of Directors since 2011 and held the position of Vice President since 2016. As the youngest person on the board, Ashley is committed to increasing engagement amongst millennial members and beyond to ensure the organization's legacy lasts for generations to come.
